Christmas Eve Update:
This is our yearly PSA! It is Christmas Eve and while our technicians are home for the holidays enjoying their day off, our offices remain open. We are a small family business and do our best to form a father and son skeleton crew for emergencies. Today on December 24th we serviced multiple emergencies and got families back up and running for the holiday.
While support from the manufacturer and factory service won’t be available for days, we stay on the clock every year to help where we can. Refrigerators don’t stop breaking because there is a holiday. Hire small, hire local and companies like ours will always do our best for you and your family.
Today we ran into a common but tricky issue with a sub zero refrigerator that was installed just yesterday! We made a YouTube video and linked to it below. It teaches you about “showroom mode” on your sub zero fridge and how to fix the issue on your own. Watch and learn!
Merry Christmas!
Happy Holidays!
To a happy, healthy 2023 and beyond!
New Years Eve Update:
Another holiday weekend working on Sub-Zero appliances. No one does it like us. We are the most thorough, prepared servicer of these appliances in the NY/NJ area. We do the leg work by stocking all the parts you need for your refrigerator BEFORE it breaks. We are fixing these appliances on the first trip 99% of the time and I am so proud of this company.
This time in Rye, New York. Our customer called us with the “vacuum condenser” light on her 22 year old 600 series sub zero. Just an hour later we were over the bridge and beginning to refurbish the refrigerator. This particular unit was in really nice shape but due to a recent plumbing repair, it was removed from the wall and not installed back correctly.
After the mechanical repair we removed the unit from the wall and reinstalled the unit to be flush with the cabinetry. This made such a difference, the kitchen looked new again. We completed this job using all “factory authorized sub-zero parts.” It is going to last for many more years.
We share videos and repair tips on our website dealing with installing and leveling sub zero refrigerators. It’s so nice to be able to use that knowledge on our repairs to make a difference.
While we are definitely the #1 Sub zero & Wolf appliance repair company in New Jersey, we have been working throughout Westchester, Putnam, NYC, Rockland and Orange for just as long. So if you are in need of a thorough job and want the best, look no farther then Certified Refrigeration LLC.
