Today in the shop! We have a drop down wolf microwave, very cool unit, the model is spo24/te. The way it was designed allowed food and grease to end up behind the racks, eventually creating an arc, which would melt the guide racks. When this happens it would spark and cause a scene, definitely in need of repair.
Tools Needed- Security Torx and Torx T10 T20 T15

What we did to remedy: We had to strip down the entire unit, a lot of screws! Remove door switches, insulation panels, the guide frames are riveted into the wall of the unit, but luckily small t10 bits remove the guide racks. Simply swap them and reassemble unit.
